Brittany is both a land of magic and a land of hospitality. There are many legends that speak of the enchantment of its valleys and its landscapes bathed in mist. Openness and hospitality are also part of the culture of this peninsula bordered by the ocean and whose inhabitants have always taken to the sea to discover new lands. The plants brought back from these distant journeys have always known how to acclimatize thanks to a mild climate which hardly knows the winter frost. It is in this land of legend and hospitality that one can discover the Botanical Park of Upper Brittany. Designed in 1847, this 25 hectare park is a cradle of acclimatization for plants from all continents. It is organized in three sets each dedicated to a season of life: spring, summer and autumn. Whatever your favorite season, the botanical park of Haute Bretagne will enchant you with its spectacle.

Haute Bretagne Botanical Park Located in the center of the park, the secret garden is a tribute to the humanist ideal of the Italian renaissance. It is composed of two terraces, one decorated with basins, a basin with sculpted lions and topiary squares. The second is occupied by a square basin surrounded by a low hedge of camellias. This secret garden also revives the medieval tradition of green cabinets.
