Darty kitchens: discover the new 2016 collection

The editor had an appointment in one of the Parisian Darty stores to discover the brand new fully customizable kitchens. During this open day, we were able to identify the elements not to be missed and the tips to make the room more functional while remaining elegant and affordable. Follow the guide !

A concrete kitchen!

Katia Rimbert Concrete is THE trend of the moment, especially in the kitchen. Darty understood this well by bringing its Silvia model up to date with a concrete finish, lacquered storage and a credenza in imitation glass. The cupboards and drawers do not have handles but ensure a good grip while the work plan in angle allows to have a bar or a pleasant dining area.

A personalized credenza

Katia Rimbert In the Reuilly kitchen, you can fully customize your credenza, from a photo or a drawing. If you are lacking in inspiration, there are many patterns like the one above. The wooden worktop and island go perfectly with the white lacquered storage elements, for an irresistible Scandinavian style room.

Cupboards without handles

Katia Rimbert Here, the sometimes unsightly and bulky handles have been forgotten in favor of a small indentation to facilitate handling. The island contains kitchen storage spaces of different sizes so that each appliance or utensil finds its place behind the stoves. The little extra decoration? The Elica decorative hood.

A standard model revisited

Katia Rimbert This model is the first price of the Darty brand. For its new collection, the brand has not changed the price of this Silvia color kitchen - which is still 6000 euros - but you can now have the inside of your cupboards and doors in the same color as your facades. Result? It is more harmonious and less "cheap" for a very affordable cost.

Create a back kitchen

Katia Rimbert The kitchen is increasingly becoming a living space. This is why Darty had the good idea to unclutter the space behind the stoves as much as possible and to propose solutions to have a laundry room or a scullery where to store the imposing household appliances and objects little used. For the washing machine, you have the choice between a column arrangement, built-in or located under the worktop.

Vary the worktop lighting

Katia Rimbert In this Bastille kitchen, the space is very elegant without forgetting its functional aspect. The bronze cupboards and handles are rounded and the lighting under the tall units is variable. It thus goes from a warm light to a cold light, more or less intense, to be in harmony with the lighting of an extractor hood.

Decorative elements in the kitchen

Katia Rimbert Here, the Concorde and Iéna models come together to create a friendly and decorative living room. The first has a central island with Quartz worktop and very decorative open niches, while the second has storage spaces whose bottom features customizable graphic patterns.

A summer wind blows in the kitchen!

Katia Rimbert In this configuration, it's up to you to choose from the 1100 colors you have available! Here, pop yellow is in the spotlight, in a lacquered or mat finish. The rounded furniture and cheeks allow the gaze to get lost in the room. In addition, the closet doors are without handles but have a push system: they can be opened simply by pressing on them.

Tailor-made down to the smallest detail

Katia Rimbert In order to be able to choose the color, the elements, the materials but also the accessories (light shelf, retractable sockets, dustbin of your future Darty kitchen, a zone of choice will soon be present in all the stores of the brand so that you can give you an opinion on the multitude of possibilities available to you.
